Outstanding success:
Successful representation of clients in proceedings regarding claims for compensation for pain and suffering due to infringement of their moral rights, which led to clarification of the case law on the destruction of works (pursuant to Section 14 UrhG) by the German Federal Supreme Court (BGH) – which had not been clarified by the highest court for a period of over 100 years. The 7-year-long law suit ended in December 2019 with the first judgement by the Kammergericht related to the new jurisdiction of the Supreme Court, in which compensation for pain and suffering was awarded for the destruction of work.
